Akrapovic exhaust system, BMW M3 and M4 (G8x) 2019-2024
G-serie M3 / M4 is an exquisite high-performance car that can be made even better by adding an Akrapovič Slip-On exhaust system. Made from titanium, with some parts cast in Akrapovič’s own foundry, it has bigger pipes than the stock exhaust, yielding lower back pressure and more power, especially at lower RPMs. This system is a completely new design, which will reduce overall vehicle weight and deliver extra power and a sporty sound.
The exhaust system also fits on xDrive, CSL, M3 Touring (G81), M4 (G83) Competition and Convertible models. The ECE type-approval certificate is not valid for CSL model.
Tailored to highlight lower frequencies and increase the listening enjoyment. Increases in both power and torque add to the sensory experience, combined with improved agility. Choose titanium or carbon tips, add optional evolution link pipe if you feel hunger for more sound – or complete the control over the sound with optional Sound Kit system.
Akrapovic is known as one of, if not the most high-quality exhaust pipe brand in the automotive industry, which has also worked as a manufacturer of original pipes, e.g. for car brands like Koenigsegg. In addition, Akrapovic has more than 160 years of heritage in motorsport, both as an expert in motorcycle and car exhaust systems.
The manufacturer is known for its lightweight titanium pipes with their signature sound. Details of these systems, depending on the product, are typically finished with the highest quality prepreg carbon fiber or kevlar. Akrapovic exhaust system types
Depending on the model, Akra’s selection typically includes a easy Slip-on upgrade, which in some models can be expanded into an even more comprehensive, race/track oriented Evolution series package. In some models, Evolution system might be recommended with tuning of the engine or needs adjustments to the modern emission systems (OPF engines). Depending on the model, additional accessories for Akrapovic systems include carbon fiber rear diffusers or other upgrades that adapt the appearance of the new piping.
The Akrapovic Sound-Kit is an optional add-on to be installed in systems equipped with flap valves, this add-on enables manual control of the exhaust flaps from the switch / key fob on the dashboard, or from the Bluetooth application on the mobile phone.
