Akrapovic exhaust system, Abarth 595/595C Pista/Competizione 2012-2020
Add a stainless steel Slip-On exhaust system and make your Abarth even faster, even more responsive, and give it an even more striking look and that unmistakable sporty Akrapovič sound. The biggest difference compared to stock is most noticeable when the optional Akrapovic sound kit for adjustable sound is used. When the exhaust valve is open, the sound becomes significantly deeper and tastefully louder, but still entirely without droning. Performance facts apply to the performance exhaust with the Akrapovic sound kit and open valves. The system without the Akrapovic sound kit has a point-welded block in the link pipe that prevents bypassing the muffler. Please note: when the bypass is unblocked, the EC type approval is not valid. Complete the look with a set of exquisite 115 mm tailpipes in either titanium or carbon fibre.Warning: This product will not fit on US spec Abarth.
Akrapovic is known as one of, if not the most high-quality exhaust pipe brand in the automotive industry, which has also worked as a manufacturer of original pipes, e.g. for car brands like Koenigsegg. In addition, Akrapovic has more than 160 years of heritage in motorsport, both as an expert in motorcycle and car exhaust systems.
The manufacturer is known for its lightweight titanium pipes with their signature sound. Details of these systems, depending on the product, are typically finished with the highest quality prepreg carbon fiber or kevlar. Akrapovic exhaust system types
Depending on the model, Akra’s selection typically includes a easy Slip-on upgrade, which in some models can be expanded into an even more comprehensive, race/track oriented Evolution series package. In some models, Evolution system might be recommended with tuning of the engine or needs adjustments to the modern emission systems (OPF engines). In some models, a Downpipe upgrade to the beginning of the exhaust is also available. See related products from the end of this product site.
Depending on the model, additional accessories for Akrapovic systems include carbon fiber rear diffusers or other upgrades that adapt the appearance of the new piping.
The Akrapovic Sound-Kit is an optional add-on to be installed in systems equipped with flap valves, this add-on enables manual control of the exhaust flaps from the switch / key fob on the dashboard, or from the Bluetooth application on the mobile phone.
