TTE700 Turbocharger for RS3 8V.2 & 8Y / TTRS 8S (DAZA, DNWA, DNWC)
The TTE700 is a performance-enhanced turbocharger based on the original RS3/TTRS unit, modified by TheTurboEngineers for a plug-and-play fit with an upgraded inlet. It features a larger TTE-milled aluminum compressor wheel (7+7 blade) and a lightweight 9-blade turbine, designed to reduce exhaust backpressure and increase power. We also include our motorsport-grade bearing system to ensure durability and faster boost response.
New units use the latest BorgWarner turbochargers, with Audi’s advanced thermal shielding to lower engine bay temperatures for better performance and safety. If you send an older turbo for an upgrade, the original shielding won’t be included unless you opt for our thermal isolation add-on.
How to purchase TTE turbos, new turbo or core exchange?
This turbo is available either as a brand-new unit that you can simply drop in to replace your stock turbo, or as an upgrade built into your current turbo core. If you choose to order this turbo with the core exchange option, you will receive clear instructions on how to send your stock core to us once the order has been processed. The email will also include printer-ready shipping labels.
Balance and Performance:
Each turbo is precisely balanced for optimal performance and durability. Parts are balanced at low speeds first, and then the whole assembly is balanced at up to 250,000 RPM to meet our high standards. You’ll receive a balance test result document with your turbo.

Additional Notes:
- For over 600 HP, upgrade the exhaust to a freer-flowing system like the Milltek V2 90mm to avoid backpressure issues.
- Use Unitronic or APR 4″ turbo inlet for LHD cars, or Forge motorsport silicone inlet for both LHD and RHD.
- For intercooler, use the Wagner EVO3 X for 600+ HP setups. EVO3 serie might be too restrictive for exceeding that power level.
- Always make sure that your engine is properly tuned after fitting a new upgrade turbo. Use wellknown, professional tuners and products such as TVS Engineering, APR, Unitronic and other tuners specialized in VAG vehicles.
