Ultimate. That’s what the TTE480 OEM+ Plug & Play upgrade turbocharger represents for the plug-and-play turbo category, designed for EA113 2.0 TFSI vehicles such as the Golf MK6R or Audi S3 8P. It offers incredibly fast response and big turbo power, delivering a broad powerband. This is a solid Stage 3+ hybrid turbocharger! If you choose to have your original turbo converted, we will send you a return label after your order, allowing you to ship your stock turbo to us for the modification. If you order a new unit, it will be delivered as a complete, brand-new turbo, and no exchange unit is required.

Carefully Designed, Built to Last

The TTE480 begins its journey as a brand-new BorgWarner K04-064 turbocharger, which is disassembled and rebuilt by TTE with precise engineering, creating a top-tier K04 hybrid. The TTE480 Turbocharger extracts serious performance from the 2.0 TFSI engine while still maintaining OE Plug & Play compatibility.

Enhanced Flow and Turbo Sound to Match

The TTE CNC K04 silencer delete removes the internal baffle and replaces it with a direct bypass section. This eliminates restrictions, reduces surging, and enhances the turbo sound you’d expect from such a setup.

High-Flow Turbine

A larger TTE 9-blade high-flow turbine and shaft reduce backpressure and EGT. The exhaust manifold is CNC-ported at the cylinder head flange to ensure smooth gas flow and improve compressor efficiency.

Robust Bearings and Wastegate

This turbocharger uses TTE’s robust motorsport-grade journal bearing system, designed to withstand high loads and boost pressures when needed. The wastegate is an upgraded OE unit featuring reinforced TTE mounts to ensure reliable operation.

Balanced for Extreme Use

Precise balancing is critical for performance and durability. TTE turbochargers undergo a meticulous balancing process, including:

• Slow-speed balancing (up to 2800 RPM).
• High-speed CHRA balancing (up to 250,000 RPM) on TTE’s in-house VSR machine.

Each turbocharger comes with a test result document, serial-numbered for quality assurance.
