Clutchmasters Clutch Kit – Ford Fiesta ST 1.6L (2011-2019)

The Ford Fiesta ST 1.6L is an absolute blast to drive, but one of its weak points is the stock clutch. The factory clutch struggles to handle performance upgrades or aggressive driving, often slipping even with moderate power increases.

At our Vantaa workshop, we’ve used Clutchmasters clutch kits on numerous Fiesta ST projects, consistently finding them to be the best option available. Multiple versions are available, from the standard 100-series to ceramic variants, but the FX300 Kevlar clutch stands out as the best-balanced choice.

The FX300 provides up to 110% more holding capacity than stock, making it an excellent choice for highly tuned street-driven cars while still maintaining a comfortable drive for stock setups. The segmented Kevlar friction material ensures long life, a smooth engagement, and a light pedal feel without excessive stiffness.

Note: Always replace the flywheel when upgrading the clutch

When upgrading the clutch, we always recommend replacing the flywheel as well. This kit is available for use with the stock dual-mass flywheel or as a package with the Clutchmasters solid flywheel for a more motorsport-oriented feel.

Consider this upgrade: Wavetrac LSD at the same time?

A popular upgrade for the Fiesta ST is adding a Wavetrac LSD differential at the same time. A proper limited-slip diff transforms front-wheel-drive handling, delivering even power to both wheels and significantly improving grip, especially in corners and wet conditions, making the car feel much more dynamic.
