Description
HPFP, high pressure pump, fuel pump, is one of the most essential upgrade items when an MQB family device such as Golf GTI / R MK7 / MK7.5, Audi A3 S3 8V or another member of this clan is taken anywhere beyond mild Stage2 tuning. The solution to this can be found in the IE HPFP upgrade kit, but the installation of the pump also requires a special tool to be done succesfully.
You can find these sockets from different manufacturers in all the colors of the rainbow, but we have selected the IE socket for a specific reason. This sleeve is designed in such a way that one work step is completely saved during the installation – the sleeve fits over the spring and piston of the pump as it is, so that the pump can be disassembled first and only then pressed and locked much easier when detached.
