The FitcamX windshield camera is a vehicle-specific, CE-certified, and easy-to-install camera that allows you to effortlessly record traffic events. The bright, high-quality optics deliver impressively sharp and clear images even in demanding conditions.

The front camera in this kit installs discreetly into the original panel behind the rearview mirror, connecting directly to the car’s wiring harness without the need for cable routing, electrical work, or dangling wires! The kit includes a replacement interior panel for your car, allowing for easy removal without leaving traces, for example, when selling the vehicle.

You can choose between a front camera or a front + rear camera kit according to your needs. The rear camera can be used to record cabin events or capture footage through the rear window (the cable must be routed along the edge of the roof panel to the rear window). Additional accessories such as anti-glare filters and a separate connection kit for constant 12V power are also available if you want to use the camera as a parking monitor.

Seamless Installation with OEM-Like Fit

Installing this camera kit takes only about 15 minutes, and thanks to its OEM-like placement and fit, you won’t even notice its presence until you need the video footage. The rear camera requires cable routing, depending on the installation location, such as to the rear window. If you want to use the parking monitor feature, you’ll need a separate constant 12V wiring kit.

High-Quality 4K Video Recording

Video footage is useless if you can’t clearly see what’s happening. The FitcamX front camera records in 2160P 4K resolution, while the rear camera records in 1080P. Combined with a powerful and bright lens, DOL-HDR technology, and NIR Night Vision functionality, the video is impressively bright and clear even in challenging and low-light conditions.

Dash Cam in Accident Situations

The built-in G-sensor detects if your car is hit and automatically locks the relevant video footage on the memory card, ensuring it isn’t accidentally overwritten. In the event of an accident, everything happens quickly, and the video can be invaluable for determining the sequence of events.

Examples include collisions with wildlife such as deer or moose, or other incidents that might be hard to distinguish from a minor bump into a snowbank. For insurance purposes, these may still be evaluated under different terms.

Dash Cam and Parking Monitor During Parking

“Came back from shopping to find deep scratches on the hood – what on earth?” If the device is connected to constant power using a separate connection kit (not included in the basic package, see accessories below), it can also function as a parking monitor. When you park your car on the street, you can leave the cameras recording. If someone hits your car while parked, you can later review the footage to see what happened and even capture the license plate number of the other vehicle.

Continuous Recording with Loop Mode

When you start the car and begin driving, the camera starts recording and works continuously and unobtrusively. When the memory card is full, the camera automatically overwrites the oldest footage, excluding locked video clips (locked by the user or triggered by the G-sensor detecting an abnormal event). The maximum memory card size supported by the camera is 256GB.
