Model-specific AUDI FitcamX Dash Cam Kit

The FitcamX dash camera is model-specific, CE-certified, and easy to install, allowing you to effortlessly record traffic events. Its high-quality optics ensure incredibly sharp and clear footage, even in demanding conditions.

The front camera in the kit integrates discreetly into the original panel behind the rearview mirror, connecting to the car’s original connectors without the need for wiring, electrical work, or dangling cables! The kit includes a replacement interior panel for your car, making the installation reversible without leaving traces, for example, when selling the vehicle.

You can choose between a front camera-only setup or a front + rear camera kit. The rear camera can be used to record in-car events or view behind the vehicle through the rear window (the cable needs to be routed to the rear window along the roof panel edge). Additional options available include anti-glare filters and a separate wiring kit for constant 12V power if you wish to use the camera for parking surveillance.

Discreet installation like factory-fitted

Installing this camera kit takes just 15 minutes effortlessly, and its OEM-like positioning and fitment make it almost invisible until you need the video recording. The rear camera installation requires cable routing to the rear window, depending on its placement. For parking surveillance, you’ll need a separate +12V constant power wiring kit.

High-quality 4K video recording

A video recording is useless if you can’t clearly see what happened. The FitcamX front camera records in 2160P 4K resolution, and the rear camera in 1080P. Combined with a powerful and bright lens, DOL-HDR technology, and NIR Night Vision functionality, the image is astonishingly clear and sharp, even in challenging conditions or low light.

Dash Cam in Accidents

The built-in G-sensor detects if your car is hit and automatically locks related footage on the memory card to prevent accidental overwriting. In the event of an accident, things happen quickly, and the video can be invaluable in understanding what occurred.

For example, in cases of a deer or moose collision or other damages, which might sometimes be hard to distinguish from a minor collision with a snowbank, insurance claims may vary depending on the circumstances.

Dash Cam and Parking Surveillance

Found deep scratches on your hood during a shopping trip—what happened? If connected with a separate wiring kit (not included in the basic package, see accessories below) for constant power to the car’s fuse box, the functionality can be expanded for parking surveillance. This way, when leaving your car on the street, the cameras can continue recording. If your car is hit while parked, you can review the footage afterward to see what happened and potentially identify the other vehicle’s license plate.

Continuous Recording with Loop Functionality

Once you start the car and drive, the camera begins recording, operating continuously and unnoticed. When the memory card is full, the camera automatically overwrites the oldest videos, excluding locked clips (locked by the user or when the G-sensor detects an unusual situation). The maximum memory card capacity for the camera is 256GB.
