MHD ECA CAN Flex Fuel Sensor Kit for B58 Engines

MHD ECA kit, from your official distributor in Finland! This kit allows you to feed real-time ethanol content data of the fuel flowing through your fuel line into your car’s CAN-bus. The MHD ECA CAN kit is typically used alongside the popular MHD Flash tuning tool/app familiar to many BMW enthusiasts, enabling fully automatic Flex Fuel tuning based on ethanol content.
In other words – your engine’s power and tuning adjust automatically depending on whether you’re running regular gasoline or a more potent ethanol blend.

The kit is officially compatible with MHD and EcuTek tuned setups, and with reservations, also with others.

Kit Installation

The ethanol sensor kit is simple to install. The sensor is connected between the fuel line and the fuel pump in the engine bay, followed by the control unit. Plug-n-play installation.

• For BMW F-series models, as well as G30 / Supra models with the stock fuel pump, the kit includes 360-degree fittings that mount the sensor near the edge of the engine bay where the fuel line rises up.
• BMW G30 / Supra models with Dorch pump – in these, the sensor is installed at the end of the pump on the fuel line using quick-connect fittings included in the kit. Choose the correct model (DS1/2 or DS15/25).
• Open Wire version includes 360-degree fittings and an open-ended wiring harness, which you can manually connect to the correct signal wires in your car’s CAN-bus. Intended for use in manual transmission models where a ready-made connector is not present in the engine bay.

Compatible with e.g. BMW M140i, M240i, M340i, 440i, 540i Gen1 B58B30M0 3.0L engines, model series including F20, F21, F22, F25, F30, F31, F36, G30, G31. Also Toyota Supra GR 3.0L.

NOTE
The kit is suitable for automatic transmission models where a CAN harness is present in the engine bay. For manual transmission cars – see the “Open Wire” version for manual connection.

When ordering, select your car model, and for G-series models, specify whether your car has the stock pump or a high-flow Dorch (or similar) HPFP. Kit contents will vary accordingly.
