MaxxECU Race Premium Engine Management for Hobby and Racing Vehicles

An engine management system with an excellent price-performance ratio for car enthusiasts, and one of the most popular choices in recent years. This ECU comes with electronic throttle control as standard. If this feature is not needed, the outputs can be used either as ground or +12V controls as required.

Two knock sensors can be connected to the ECU, allowing you to configure custom protection and feedback functions.

It can also be used with a Bluetooth Android-based tablet or smartphone dashboard. Additionally, a separate Dash unit can be installed via the CAN bus.

Suitable for, among others:

• 2- and 4-stroke internal combustion engines with 1-12 cylinders
• Fully sequential up to 8 cylinders
• Up to 12 cylinders with wasted spark

• Intake temperature sensor (IAT)
• Coolant temperature sensor (CTS)
• Throttle position sensor (TPS)
• Wideband lambda sensor directly to ECU (LSU4.2, LSU4.9)
• 2 trigger inputs, VR / digital
• 2 extra temperature sensor inputs
• 2 knock sensor inputs
• 6 extra 0-5V sensor inputs
• 4 extra digital inputs (e.g., wheel speed signals, VR/Digital)
• 8x EGT exhaust temperature inputs in a dedicated connector (K-type connectors in a separate wiring harness)

MaxxECU RACE Outputs

• 8x P/H injector outputs (low or high impedance, normal or peak & hold type control)
• 8x ignition outputs, 5V pulse control for ignition amplifiers or CDI systems
• 9 extra grounding outputs. Can be used to control almost anything (considering current limitations)! GPO 1-8,10 (2A), GPO 9 (5A)
• 2 extra +12V control outputs, e.g., for BMW S54 Vanos. (GPO 15,16) (2A)
• 4 extra engine control outputs, e.g., electronic throttle control (essentially 2 H-bridges). GPO 11-14 (2A)
