Even many of the powerful AMG models come with surprisingly restricting intake system. Those of us who have had a closer look, know that the matchbox-sized intake horns are simply not enough when you opt for high power output with hybrid turbos such as the famous Pureturbo Pure900 or Pure1000.

With free flowing air intake the workload at turbo compressor is significantly reduced, making it easier to produce power with reasonable intake temps.

While from our selection you can already find high-end solutions such as Wagner or Eventuri full carbon, boxed intakes – Blackboost is offering you something else. Affordable price tag, and unfiltered, raw intake sound you cannot find from competitors. Feel the spool up!

Blow-off Valve function
What this kit does, is simply eliminating the factory recirculating blow off valve inlet hoses allowing the blow off valves to vent to the open atmosphere. Consider how every time the factory system recirculates air back into the front of the turbo using the Blow off Valve, it is actually sending a dose of ultra hot compressed air back into the inlet as well. This can create a spike in air intake temperatures every time you release the throttle. By eliminating this factory recirculation, this can be easily avoided. You also get the added benefit of having an awesome Wooshing Blow off valve sound, something that often people will pay for as an added option, however the elimination of this recirculating tube is standard on our kits.
