034Motorsport X34 Intake System for Audi RS3 8V Facelift (DAZA), open version. This kit is one of the most comprehensive packages on the market for the 2.5 TFSI EVO engine, found in the 8S Audi TTRS and 8V.5 Audi RS3 models.
034Motorsport engineers worked tirelessly to develop the perfect cold air intake for the TTRS and RS3 models, aimed at improving airflow and reducing pressure drop compared to the well-designed stock airbox. The result is a setup that provides clear power gains with more aggressive intake sounds, even in stock vehicles. However, the benefits are more pronounced and amplified in tuned setups.
This kit works best with the 034 Motorsport 4″ turbo inlet, which removes the final restriction from the Daza intake system.
This intake system is available in both open and closed versions in our selection. The open version offers slightly more airflow and power gains, but with more pronounced intake noise.
NOTE: For 2019+ models, you may need a separate adapter hose for connecting the DV valve.
Refined on the Flow Bench
The design of this intake has heavily utilized computer power, CAD software, and 3D scanning technology. The shape and airflow area of the channel have been optimized by using every bit of space available in the engine bay for maximum airflow. The result is a technical work of art when it comes to air intake.
Intake Pipe Sized as Needed
The stock system’s intake pipe is quite modest in size, which quickly becomes a bottleneck if the turbo inlet or the filter itself is upgraded for better flow. The entire channel should be substantial from start to finish. The massive 4-inch intake pipe ensures a smooth, flowing setup, especially when paired with the 034 turbo inlet (sold separately).
Proper Heat Protection
This kit includes a proper heat shield that protects the intake from the turbo’s heat.

Note for Early RS3 Models
Early 8V.5 Audi RS3 models come with a heat shield that is not compatible with the heat shield included in this intake kit. The newer model OEM heat shield can be found under part number 07K 129 597 G, and it is also available through us at a reasonable price (inquire). The image below shows the older heat shield that is not compatible.
