Amsoil Signature Series (SS)

The Amsoil Signature Series motor oil is the manufacturer’s flagship product, designed for modern gasoline engines. These oils meet API SN and ILSAC GF-5 approvals from American and Japanese manufacturers, as well as some specific manufacturer certifications. They are also widely used in European engines and even racing engines, depending on the application and viscosity.

Engine protection with SS oil is 75% better than the strictest API SN oil standards require. The maximum change interval is 40,000 km or once a year unless otherwise specified. Enthusiasts often prefer intervals of around 15,000 to 20,000 km. Intended for newer high-performance turbocharged passenger cars, its high-quality base also makes it an excellent choice for Flexfuel vehicles running on E85 ethanol fuel.

Amsoil Premium Protection European motor oil is a dependable and high-quality oil for street vehicles, designed to meet European car manufacturers’ ACEA approvals for both gasoline and diesel engines in passenger cars and vans. It’s well-suited for turbocharged engines and also supports extended Longlife change intervals. (Though for other reasons, we don’t recommend these intervals!)

Amsoil Z-ROD

Amsoil Z-ROD motor oil is a high-zinc oil for classic engines and high-performance street engines, especially those with flat tappet cams and high valve spring pressures. It includes a robust mix of anti-corrosion additives, protecting the engine even during long storage periods. The recommended change interval is 8,000 km or once a year. Suitable for E85 use as well.

Dominator Racing Oil

Amsoil Dominator Racing Oil is a familiar product for racing professionals. It’s a completely uncompromising motor oil designed for maximum surface pressure, shear strength, and heat resistance, while minimizing friction and blow-by. Ideal for high RPMs and extreme temperatures. It contains no detergents, as these compete for space with more critical additives. For this reason, oil changes are recommended every 3-5 races or approximately every 5,000 km for street use.
